Consultant Dermatologist and researcher

Dr Christos Tziotzios is a Consultant Dermatologist and adjunct Reader in Clinical and Molecular Dermatology at St John’s Institute of Dermatology, London. He graduated from the University of Cambridge School of Medicine and holds a PhD in Molecular Genetics, with doctoral research focused on frontal fibrosing alopecia.

Prior to medicine, he completed a Master of Pharmacy with First Class Honours and worked as a Research Pharmacologist in Drug Discovery at Pfizer. His research spans alopecia, lichen planus, lichenoid dermatoses, genetic skin conditions, and scar formation therapeutics, and includes a first-authored study in Nature Communications on genome-wide association studies in frontal fibrosing alopecia.
